Yes! SurveyExtreme is completely free. There are no premium plans, hidden fees, or response limits. The platform is supported by non-intrusive advertising, which allows us to keep all features — including AI-powered question suggestions, real-time analytics, and unlimited surveys — available to every user at no cost.
No. Anyone with a survey link can respond without creating an account or providing any personal information. Survey access is completely anonymous by default. You only need an account if you want to create and manage your own surveys, view analytics, or access your dashboard.
SurveyExtreme supports nine question types: multiple choice, checkboxes (select multiple), yes/no, star ratings, numeric scales, Net Promoter Score (NPS), Likert scales, matrix grids, and open-ended text responses. You can mix and match question types within a single survey to capture both quantitative ratings and qualitative feedback. Each question type is optimized for mobile devices and accessible to screen readers.
No. You can create as many surveys as you like and collect unlimited responses on each one. There are no caps on the number of questions per survey either. Whether you need one quick poll or hundreds of detailed questionnaires, SurveyExtreme scales with your needs at no extra cost.
Each survey gets a unique link (e.g., surveyextreme.com/s/your-survey-id). Copy the link from your dashboard and share it through social media, email, messaging apps, or anywhere else. SurveyExtreme also provides built-in social sharing buttons for Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Reddit, and more, so you can distribute your survey to a wide audience with a single click.
Survey responses are anonymous by default — SurveyExtreme does not collect respondent names, email addresses, or IP addresses. This encourages honest and candid feedback. If you need to identify respondents for your research, you can add a question within your survey asking for their name, email, or other identifying information.
Yes. In your survey settings, you can enable public results. This generates a shareable results link where anyone can view aggregated charts, statistics, and per-question breakdowns for your survey. Public results are useful for community polls, transparent feedback initiatives, and academic research where sharing findings is important.
Yes. You can enable the single-response option in your survey settings. This uses the respondent's browser to prevent duplicate submissions from the same device. While no online method can guarantee absolute uniqueness without requiring login, this approach effectively reduces duplicate responses for most use cases.
You get a comprehensive real-time analytics dashboard including total response count, completion rate, average completion time, and response trends over time with an interactive chart. Each question has its own detailed breakdown: multiple choice and rating questions display visual bar and pie charts with percentages, NPS questions show your score with promoter/passive/detractor segmentation, and text responses are listed individually. All data updates live as new responses arrive.
Yes, you can edit your survey at any time from your dashboard. You can update question text, add new questions, reorder them, or change settings. Keep in mind that changing questions after collecting responses may affect the consistency of your results, so it is best to finalize your survey design before wide distribution.
Yes. All data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with encryption in transit via HTTPS. Authentication is handled through AWS Cognito, a trusted identity service, and we never store passwords in plain text. Survey data is stored in DynamoDB with encryption at rest, and access is restricted through IAM policies that follow the principle of least privilege.
