- When should I send a product feedback survey?
- After users have had enough time to form a real opinion — typically two to four weeks of active use, or right after they've used the feature you're asking about. Surveying too early measures onboarding, not the product.
- How many responses do I need before acting on results?
- For directional product decisions, 30–50 responses reveal clear patterns. For statistically reliable percentages, use a sample size calculator — we link one from this page.
- Should I offer an incentive for product feedback?
- Engaged users often respond without one. If response rates are low, small incentives (feature previews, swag, gift-card draws) help — but keep the survey short first; length is the bigger drop-off driver.
